What You Need
  • 1 cup Full-fat Greek yogurt plain, no additives — check the label
  • ¼ cup Fresh cilantro, packed and roughly chopped
  • 1 Lime — juice and zest
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced or grated raw for sharpness, roasted for mellow sweetness
  • ½ tsp Ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt
  • 1 pinch Cayenne optional — adds a subtle back-heat

How to Make It
  1. 01
    Combine everything
Add Greek yogurt, chopped cilantro, lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and cayenne (if using) into a bowl. Stir well to fully incorporate.
💡 For a smoother sauce, blend everything in a small food processor or immersion blender for 20 seconds.
  2. 02
    Taste and adjust
The sauce should be bright and tangy with a clean herb finish. Add more lime juice for brightness, more cumin for earthiness, or more salt to sharpen. The flavor intensifies after 15 minutes in the fridge.
  3. 03
    Rest before serving
Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving — the garlic mellows, the lime sinks in, and the sauce tightens up. Store in an airtight glass jar for up to 5 days.
💡 Give it a stir before each use. Drizzle over the Mexican Bowl or use as a dip for anything.
